Sesuit Harbor Cafe

Making choices can be very hard

Overlooking Dennis’ Northside Marina, Sesuit Harbor Cafe is a Cape Cod institution. Known for its lobster rolls, incredible sunsets, and fresh raw bar, it’s a New England clam shack in all its glory.  Being a BYOB spot, people are fit to camp out for a good while with full coolers, so be ready to wait for a table or send in a good scout to claim your spot. Trust us, it’ll all be worth it once you settle-in.

What To Order

When it comes to ordering, you’re going to need to make some decisions. First, are you heading to Sesuit Harbor Cafe for breakfast, lunch, or dinner? The next question is raw bar, bakery, or fryer? It’s hard to go wrong with any preference, but let’s break each one down for your eating pleasure.

At breakfast, you can add lobster meat to most dishes, which gives you the unique opportunity to eat it for three meals in one day. If that’s not where your head’s at after one too many White Claws on the sand the day before, take that rockin’ headache and pick-up a linguica, egg, and cheese on your way to Cold Storage beach.

Lunch loads-up on the classics like their, “World Famous” lobster roll, a pint of fried clams or oysters, and the heavily portioned Fisherman’s Platter with scallops, fish, and clams. If you’re looking for something fresh, the Seared Scallop Salad is the way to go, with a side of something fried (for balance).

Dinner is always our preference, since there’s almost no better use of our time than pulling-up to Sesuit Harbor with a cooler of  something cold to take magic hour in. To avoid any regrets, start by ordering oysters from the raw bar for the table and a couple lobster rolls for sharing (and instagram), with a basket of onion rings on the side. When it comes to making the perfect solo-selection, the Baked Stuffed Cod, pictured in the gallery below, is absolutely incredible. Stuffed with shrimp and scallops, it’s a seafood trifecta that truly gets us through the winter months. Here’s a look at their full menu to get your wheels turning on your selections this summer.

Where to Go

The nearby beaches are fantastic any time of day, but low-tide is when they all shine. Cold Storage, Corporation, and Sesuit beaches are all closest, and are the perfect place to take on some sun or take in a sandwich.

For those looking to be on the water, Freedom Boat Club members can launch right from the Northside Marina and those less savvy at the helm can head out on one the Lobster Roll Cruises, or Albatross Fishing charter.
